About this document

This page explains the rules and practices that apply when you use WupHub. Read the sections relevant to your use of the platform and contact us if anything needs clarification.

01

Scope and roles

This Privacy Policy explains how WupHub collects, uses, discloses and protects information when you visit our website, create an account or use the WupHub platform.

For account, billing and website information, WupHub generally acts as the organization responsible for deciding how that information is used. For contacts, messages and other customer data that a workspace imports or connects, the workspace owner generally decides the purpose of processing and WupHub processes the data to provide the service.

02

Information we collect

Depending on how you use WupHub, we may collect:

  • Account information: name, email address, authentication details and workspace membership.
  • Workspace information: workspace name, settings, team roles, tags, segments and automation configuration.
  • Connected-channel data: channel identifiers, access credentials or tokens, page and account metadata, messages, comments, media references and delivery events.
  • Contact and conversation data: names, usernames, phone numbers, email addresses, message history, attributes and consent or suppression status supplied by a workspace.
  • Usage and technical data: IP address, browser, device, timestamps, diagnostic logs and interactions with the service.
  • Billing data: plan, invoices and transaction status. Payment card details may be handled directly by a payment provider rather than stored by WupHub.
03

Where information comes from

We receive information directly from you, from members of your workspace, from customers who communicate through a connected channel, and from platforms you authorize WupHub to access. We also receive limited technical information automatically when the service is used.

04

How we use information

We use information to provide and secure WupHub, authenticate users, connect channels, deliver messages, run automations, synchronize customer activity, provide support, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, understand product performance, comply with law and communicate service updates.

Where required, we rely on consent, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations or legitimate interests such as maintaining a safe and reliable service.

05

AI features

If a workspace enables an AI feature, prompts and relevant conversation context may be sent to the AI provider selected or configured by that workspace. Workspace administrators are responsible for deciding what data may be used with AI features and for providing any notices or consent required for their customers.

Do not place sensitive personal information into an AI prompt unless it is necessary, permitted and appropriately protected.

06

How information is shared

We may share information with infrastructure, authentication, communications, analytics, payment and support providers that help operate WupHub. Information is also shared with connected platforms, such as Meta or Google services, when required to perform an action requested by a workspace.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, in connection with a corporate transaction, or with your direction or consent. We do not sell personal information for money.

07

Retention and deletion

We keep information for as long as needed to operate the service, fulfill the purposes described here, meet contractual commitments, resolve disputes and comply with law. Retention can vary by data type and workspace configuration.

Workspace owners may remove data through available product controls or request deletion as described on our User Data Deletion page. Some information may remain in restricted backups for a limited period or be retained where law requires it.

08

Security

We use administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, workspace boundaries and protected server-side credentials. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so customers should also use strong authentication, limit team access and promptly remove former members.

09

International data transfers

WupHub and its providers may process information in countries other than the country where it was collected. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or legal mechanisms intended to protect information during international transfers.

10

Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy of information, or withdraw consent. You may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.

If WupHub holds the data for one of our customers, contact that workspace first. We will support verified requests from workspace owners as required. To contact WupHub directly, email support@wuphub.com.

11

Children, changes and contact

WupHub is a business service and is not directed to children. We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The updated date at the top will show when a revision becomes effective.

Questions and privacy requests can be sent to support@wuphub.com.
