About this document
This page explains the rules and practices that apply when you use WupHub. Read the sections relevant to your use of the platform and contact us if anything needs clarification.
Permission is required
You may send a message only when you have a valid legal basis and any consent required for that recipient, channel, content and location. Consent must be informed, freely given where required, and connected to the type of message being sent.
A prior purchase, a public profile or possession of a phone number or email address does not automatically provide permission for every message.
Contact list standards
Purchased, rented, scraped, harvested and third-party lists without verifiable permission are prohibited. Keep records showing how and when a recipient opted in, what they were told and which sender or brand they expected to hear from.
Be clear about the sender
Messages must accurately identify the business or person sending them. Subject lines, sender names, domains, offers and calls to action must not be deceptive. Where required, include valid contact or business information.
Make opt-out easy
Provide a clear way to stop promotional messages and honor requests promptly. Do not require payment, account creation or unnecessary personal information to opt out. Once a person opts out, add them to the appropriate suppression list and do not re-add them without new valid consent.
Maintain healthy sending
Use accurate audience selection, control frequency, remove invalid recipients and investigate high block, bounce, complaint or unsubscribe rates. Follow the limits, templates, messaging windows and quality requirements of each connected provider.
Automations still need consent
Automation does not change your responsibilities. Keyword triggers, comment replies, campaigns, AI responses and follow-up sequences must respect the recipient’s intent, channel policies, consent scope and opt-out status.
Enforcement and reporting
We may pause or restrict sending while investigating complaints, unusual volume, poor quality signals or suspected violations. Serious or repeated violations may result in disconnection or account termination.
To report unwanted messages sent through WupHub, email support@wuphub.com. Include the sender, approximate date, channel and a copy or screenshot of the message where possible.
